We provide quality services while employing people with disabilities. People with disabilities are good employees, productive workers, and respected leaders in any work environment. BH Services is a community rehabilitation program that works closely with SourceAmerica, a national non-profit facilitator of the AbilityOne program, to provide employment opportunities for people with disabilities. BH Services was formed in 1996 to oversee the Black Hills Works' federal contracts. Employment is provided to more than 200 people with disabilities in the Rapid City, South Dakota, and Omaha, Nebraska areas.
The AbilityOne Program is a federal initiative to help people who are blind or have other severe disabilities find employment by working for nonprofit agencies that sell products and/or services to the U.S. government. With a national network of 600 NPAs (nonprofit agencies), AbilityOne is the largest source of employment for people who are blind or have other severe disabilities in the United States. AbilityOne has supported our DoD and federal customers for over 70 years. We understand the unique needs of the U.S. military and can accommodate complex contract and program requirements. We help you meet strict industry standards and certifications such as ISO 9000, CARF, JCAHO and ASHES. Most importantly, our capable, reliable employees bring an exceptional, award-winning work ethic to every project.
